Day 01:
Started off from Singapore Changi Airport.
Check in at 11pm, 6 hours flight to Korea!
Day 02:
On the flight, we tried their Bibimbap (Korean Mixed Rice). Yummy!
Reach Korea, Seoul after a long 6 hours flight.

Yeah!!
We meet up with our Korean tour guide. A fat and joke-ly uncle. =)
We headed for lunch and this quiet, family restaurant.
After which, we went straight to the domestic airport and head for Jeju. It is a place where people and natural coexist.

Then we went Mysterious Road which was discovered by a newly married couple who went to Jeju for honeymoon. While they stop by their taxi by the roadside to have a break. The taxi which is with free gear was seen to be moving upslope! The couple and the taxi driver went to report to the police that there is ghost in that area! According to scientists, the "upslope" illusion caused by the mountain behind which seems to be upslope which is actually downslope.
There bicycles and bottles of water to let you 'experience' the strange encounter. When you ride on the bicycle, you will need to pedal hard to move 'downslope' but you don't need to pedal at all to move 'upslope'. Strange? Place a bottle filled with water and placed it in the middle of the road. The bottle will move 'upslope'! *heehee*

We went to Yongduam Rock. It is a unusual lava formation that lies on the coast in the west of the city, like a dragon flying from the sea. Jeju has a 土地公 and 土地婆. Last the old days, due to war, all the men are send to war and proportion of men to women is very unbalanced. A lot of women has become widow. The women who misses their husband will sit by the coast, bring along a piece of the wood and knife and cut of the shape of the 土地公 and 土地婆 but without hands and face. *told by the tour guide*. Go figure out what it looks like but I don't know what is it so don't ask me.

Then we went on to Bunjae Artpia, a spirited garden specializing in potted plant (bonsai) cultivation. And I discovered Eeyore's long distance cousin! *heehee*
Dinner is next! Ginseng Chicken Soup! Nice nice!

We went to the nite market on our own to check out on cheap and yummy seaweeds and chocolates. *heehee*
Day 03:
Yummy porridge for breakfast!

Boost up to conquer the Sunrise peak.
The sign says it all.
A volcanic crater with vertical cliffs that rises up from the shore. As the easternmost tip of Jeju Island, this area is the first to greet each day's new sun.
Beautiful path and breath-taking views greeted flowers by

the side of the path.
Then we went on to seopjikoji, "All-In" filming site. This drama is about a young, lowly educated young man who grows up in Jeju. He committed a crime and was sent overseas by this relatives to prevent him from being caught. He went to US for to become a professional gambler but was being used by the bad guys. T

his is based on a true story and the man now is already 80 plus years old.
We went on to do some picking and sampling of juicy and delicious oranges. Great and wonderful experience. Cannot never experience it in Singapore!

Folk Village is the next stop. We are told of a lot of day-to-day practice of village folks. Very very interesting facts!
Then we go 拜拜. Very nice building, both inside and outside.

Due to our request, before our last stop, we went to teddy bear museum. A place 9 of us long to visit. This is one place we shall not missed! Only 4 (Japan, USA, Germany and Korea) of its kind in the world! Partly, after I watch
Princess Hours. I started to fall in love with bears! They are just so adorable!

Day 04:

We head for the airport to take the domestic flight to Gwangju. First stop at Gwangju is Mt Daedumsan. Taking cable car and conquer this time a mountain. *heehee* I didnt complete it as the last part is 60 degrees steps. Scary!! But I still can see beautiful view of red and yellow trees. (=
Day 05:
Blue house is next. Blue house is the presidential residence of the Republic of Korea.

It was stated that the blue tiles and the smooth roof are in beautiful harmory with Mt Bugaksan. *honestly, I can't tell that the tiles are blue.*
Follow up is the Royal Palaces. Beautiful structures!
Everland! Here we come! This amusement park is actually run by Samsung. The whole hill/mountain is theirs! Rich sia! Really a fun place. A place filled with fairy tale! Fantastic! Too bad, I didn't get on the tallest roller coaster ride cos no kiakis. =( The Four Seasons Garden is so beautiful. I don't know what other word to use. Just simply beautiful. This park contains a tons of games, rides, safari world (which contains bear, lions, tiger, lionger *cross of tiger and lion*, polar bear, clever black bears.) Just amazing! I wish I have never grow up. I feel like I am living in a fairy tale!

Some shopping at Dongdaemun, things are really ex there! Didn't buy a lot of things but money still run out fast.
Day 06:
Did some last minute shopping. Bought 2 pieces of long sleeves tops *it's autumn there, what do you expect??* Time to pack up and go home! *sianz back to reality!* Even Korea don't bear to see us leave. Farewell, Korea!
