watched this movie, if i am not wrong at cineleisure on the 22nd jun.. forgotten to blog about this..
this movie is those which is great for family with young kids, good education background, plot..
there's one thing that i can't relate to.. penguins on hot, sunny beach, surfing?? they suntann?? chicken, water, swim, surf?!? haha~~ i just take it from the light side but hope that those doesn't give kids the wrong ideas..
if you do not have a kid - 2/5.. with kids - 3/5..
Surf's Up delves behind the scenes of the high-octane world of competitive surfing. The film profiles teenage Rockhopper penguin Cody Maverick (Shia LaBeouf) as he enters his first pro competition. Cody believes that winning will bring him the admiration and respect he desires, but when he unexpectedly comes face-to-face with a washed-up old surfer named Geek (Jeff Bridges), Cody begins to find his own way, and discovers that a true winner isn't always the one who comes in first.
